GE Capital Bank S.A., based in Gdask, Poland, was acquired primarily by GE Capital Corporation in 1995; 10% of the bank's shares were also acquired by Selective American Financial
Enterprises (SAFE). Since its acquisition, the Bank's loan portfolio has risen dramatically, making it one of the premier financial institutions in Poland. With a consumer loan portfolio that exceeds $800 million, the Bank is rated sixth among Polish retail banks.
The Bank's focus is on the retail customer with sales finance, auto and personal loan products that account for the majority of the portfolio. Other unique products include Visa
Credit Cards and loan insurance, which are offered by both traditional and innovative distribution channels such as telemarketing. We also have special programs dedicated to 5000
